OH BOY, it will be interesting to try and write a comedy. Especially when I am a tired potato trying to write at 11 pm. The prompt details sound pretty out there though, so maybe I'll even make ONE JOKE (gasp). Here we go!

Genre: Comedy
Character: A hot-shot CEO
Material: A frisbee
Sentence: "Shut up."
Bonus: There seems to be no one left on the planet.
Richard was ready for another beautiful day of leading his mighty company. He wasn't a very experienced CEO, but he really did try his best. It was an unlikely string of events that led him to being reluctantly promoted, and he still couldn't believe the position he was in. He was grateful, of course, maybe too grateful, considering the circumstances. You see, Richard used to be the late CEO's assistant, and there was nobody else in the entire company who knew the CEO and his strategies as well as Dick, which was step number one in the chain of unlikely events that got us here. The CEO wasn't particularly fond of Richard, he often told his board of directors that Dick was just not up to par sometimes (of course Rick took that as a rare, valuable piece of advice - to become a better assistant). Because of this shaky relationship, the CEO never shared much of anything with the man, but Richard never gave up, becoming borderline obsessed with his boss. It was a dream come true when hired as the assistant. The moment he heard the news, he had a beautiful flash forward to his perfect, wholesome relationship he was going to have with his favorite boss. He spent as much time with the late CEO as he possibly could, writing down everything the CEO said, especially the things Richard considered wise, which was basically everything. Dick also tried his best to get invited to his boss's home as much as he could, and generally, and kind of creepily, studied him, to the point of discomfort.
Our fresh, hot-shot CEO started his day the same way he has done every day this week. He pointed at his alarm clock and sternly commanded it to "shut up!" He wasn't a very authoritative person, but it was clearly written in his notes that his late boss has done this at least once, so it couldn't hurt doing the same. Of course the clock never listened, it was just a damn clock, but this didn't prevent Dick from getting mad at the time keeping device and chewing it out for a few minutes for disobeying his clear command, and ringing while he is talking. What an ungrateful object. He wasn't sure that achieved anything, but at least it helped him wake up.
Next order of business was to spend some time being grateful to everything that got him to where he was today. He read about this on a "Top 10 Successful CEO Secrets EXPOSED!" article, when researching how to lead a company. Richard always thought this was an odd piece of advice, but he followed it regardless. Every morning he came up to a framed photograph of his CEO, and thanked him for everything he taught Richard, and also for being dead. If you haven't guessed, this was another step in the unlikely chain of events that lead this man to leading a multi billion dollar company. This ritual often brought Dick to tears, but if this made him a better executive, the man simply didn't have a choice. Plus somewhere deep inside, it made him feel like being in on some grand secret, like he was a part of some hidden CEO cult. Thanks BuzzFeed!

TIME UP
I wasn't feeling the humor, but I tried my best for the energy levels I'm at. Thanks for reading you guys, I'm sorry I wasn't very funny! This is pretty much improv comedy, and it's my very first attempt at it! I can't wait to give it another shot, and get better with time. I feel like last story was funnier, but who knows, I'm excited to hear some feedback!
